Only one person can be in the other world at one time. This is to prevent people from talking too much as I have noticed that it is against the customs to speak loudly or frequently. Two people would make more noise than one. Or perhaps it's to keep us lonely so we won't leave, So we can't make connections when we get back. Because it's cruel. How laughable it is that the loneliest place in the universe perpetually seeks good company. Oh this is so off-topic isn't it? I'm sorry.
Only one DOOR exists at a time. A DOOR exists in a set place until you look away from it or until you open it. After that the DOOR leaves. It could be said that this indicates that there is only one DOOR. This theory is impossible to prove or disapprove without asking the other world herself. Nobody has ever gotten that far into her to ask. I'm sure she'll tell someone though.
